Nissan Motor India has given Indian car buyers some big news. The company has assured that it would introduce three new cars in India, beginning early 2026. Nissan Investment and Strategy.
Nissan is spending approximately 700 million (7,300 crore) in product development, production and marketing to facilitate these launches. By FY27, the company has a sales target of 1 lakh units almost four fold increase in its sales in FY25.
In India, Nissan will also increase showrooms, which is currently 160 to more than 250 in metros and smaller cities. The Chennai plant will have a significant contribution to domestic sales and exports, and its production capacity is 4.8 lakh cars in a year.
Exports and Global Plans
India has already been exporting the New Nissan Models such as the Magnite and Sunny to 65 or more countries. These new models will further increase exports and will cement the presence of India as a Nissan hub to the world.
