The next-gen New Hyundai Venue has been spotted undisguised, showing major design and tech updates inside and out.
Hyundai’s popular compact SUV, the Venue, is getting ready for a major transformation. The new Hyundai Venue has been spotted testing on Indian roads without any camouflage, offering the clearest glimpse yet at what’s coming. This marks the first full-generation upgrade since the model debuted in 2019, and it’s clear Hyundai is aiming to make it bigger, bolder, and more advanced.

A Fresh New Hyundai Venue, Confident Exterior Design
The first thing that catches your eye is how different the new Venue looks. The front design has been completely reworked to reflect Hyundai’s latest SUV styling language. A wide, squared-off grille with bold horizontal slats gives it a stronger presence. The vertically stacked LED headlamps, paired with slim daytime running lights placed high near the bonnet, lend the SUV a sharp, modern face.
Lower down, a silver skid plate and thick black cladding around the bumper and wheel arches add some rugged character. From the side, the new Hyundai Venue retains its compact proportions, but sharper lines, flared wheel arches, and a set of new 16-inch alloy wheels add a touch of sportiness.

The rear design sees the biggest change — a new connected LED light bar stretches across the tailgate, flanked by redesigned tail lamps. The bumper is chunkier with silver detailing, echoing Hyundai’s global SUV design seen on models like the Creta and Tucson.
Overall, the Venue looks more premium and mature while keeping its urban-friendly size intact.
Inside the Cabin: Modern and Tech-Focused
Step inside, and the changes continue. The new Venue’s cabin has been completely redesigned to feel more upmarket and connected. Spy images reveal a dual 10.25-inch curved display — one for the infotainment system and another for the digital instrument cluster. This unified setup gives the dashboard a sleek, high-tech appearance.
The air vents now follow a horizontal layout, while metallic inserts and soft-touch materials make the interior feel more refined. The overall design feels cleaner, minimalistic, and focused on comfort.
Expect Hyundai to pack the cabin with modern features such as ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, and even a panoramic sunroof on the top trims.
There’s also talk that the New Hyundai Venue could come equipped with Hyundai’s Level 2 ADAS suite, front parking sensors, and rain-sensing wipers — features that will make it one of the most feature-rich SUVs in its class.
Engine and Performance: Proven and Reliable
Under the hood, the new Hyundai Venue is expected to retain its current engine lineup. That means you’ll likely get a choice of three engines — a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol for those who want more punch, and a 1.5-litre diesel for fuel-efficiency lovers.
Transmission options should include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, an iMT (intelligent manual transmission), and a 7-speed DCT automatic. While these are familiar options, Hyundai may fine-tune the engines and gearboxes for smoother performance and better efficiency.
Expected Launch and Price
The new-generation Hyundai Venue is expected to make its India debut sometime next month, followed by a global rollout soon after. Prices are expected to start from around ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom) and could go up to ₹13 lakh for the top variants.
With this upgrade, New Hyundai Venue seems ready to strengthen its position in the highly competitive sub-4 metre SUV segment.

Competition in the Market
Once launched, the new Hyundai Venue will face tough competition from other compact SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Mahindra XUV300. Each of these models has carved its niche, but with Hyundai’s design updates, premium interiors, and new features, the Venue aims to raise the benchmark once again.
Hyundai’s Broader Strategy for India
New Hyundai Venue has been aggressive with its product plans for the Indian market. The company has announced that it will introduce 26 new models by 2030, including seven all-new nameplates. These will include a new MPV and Hyundai’s first off-roader — both under development.
The upcoming MPV is expected to be positioned above the Alcazar, possibly targeting buyers of the Toyota Innova. Meanwhile, the off-roader is likely to compete with lifestyle vehicles like the Mahindra Thar and Maruti Suzuki Jimny, featuring 4×4 capability and rugged styling.
This wider product portfolio will help Hyundai reach new customer segments while maintaining its strong presence in mainstream categories with vehicles like the Creta and Venue.
